Sarah Minor
Sarah Minor is a writer and interdisciplinary artist and author of Slim Confessions: The Universe as a Spider or Spit (Noemi Press 2021), Bright Archive (Rescue Press 2020), winner of the 2020 Big Other Nonfiction Book Award, and The Persistence of the Bonyleg: Annotated, a chapbook from Essay Press. Minor is the recipient of the Barthelme Prize for Short Prose, an Individual Research Grant to Iceland, and an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award. Her essays have been collected in several anthologies including Best American Experimental Writing, Advanced Creative Nonfiction, and A Harp in the Stars. She serves as the video essay & cinepoetry editor at TriQuarterly Review and is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in the University of Iowa’s Nonfiction Writing Program.
Daniel Khalastchi
Daniel Khalastchi is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. He is the author of three books—Manoleria (Tupelo Press) Tradition (McSweeney’s), and American Parables (University of Wisconsin Press, winner of the Brittingham Prize in Poetry)—and his work has appeared in a variety of publications, including The Believer Logger, Colorado Review, Denver Quarterly, Fence, The Iowa Review, Poetry Northwest, The Rumpus, and Best American Experimental Writing. The recipient of fellowships and recognitions from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown and the Hermitage Artist Retreat, Daniel was a recent Visiting Assistant Professor at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. He currently directs the University of Iowa’s Magid Center for Undergraduate Writing and is the co-founder and managing editor of Rescue Press.
Caryl Pagel
Caryl Pagel is the author of three books of poetry: Free Clean Fill Dirt (University of Akron Press, fall 2022), Twice Told, and Experiments I Should Like Tried at My Own Death, as well as a collection of essays, Out of Nowhere Into Nothing (FC2, 2020). She is an editor and publisher at Rescue Press and the director of the Cleveland State University Poetry Center. Pagel teaches creative writing at Cleveland State University and in the NEOMFA program.
