Dey House and The Glenn Schaeffer Library
The Dey House and Glenn Schaeffer Library and Archives are the Writers' Workshop administrative home.
Most graduate-level classes are held in the Glenn Schaeffer Library and Archives, which was newly built in 2006. The new building is also home to the Frank Conroy Reading Room, which currently holds over 3,700 books of fiction, poetry, and nonfiction by Workshop alumni.
Students often work and gather informally in the Reading Room, and Workshop-sponsored readings and events are also frequently held there.
Parking
Metered parking is available on both sides of Clinton St. Unmetered street parking is available along adjacent side streets. Please be advised that University Parking Lot 24 is not open to the public.
Accessibility
The entrance to the Glenn Schaeffer Library is accessible to persons with disabilities, and is located to the north of the Dey House entrance, along Clinton Street.
Accessible metered parking is available at the north end of Clinton St.
