Please join us for a reading and conversation with Adam Soto in celebration of the release of his book Concerning Those Who Have Fallen Asleep: Ghost Stories (Astra House, 2022). He will be joined in conversation by Nickolas Butler.

Adam Soto is the author of This Weightless World, longlisted for Best Debut Novel 2021 by Locus Magazine, and Concerning Those Who Have Fallen Asleep: Ghost Stories. A former Michener-Copernicus Foundation Fellow, he holds an MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop. He lives with his wife in Austin, Texas, where he is a teacher, a musician, and the web editor of American Short Fiction.

Nickolas Butler was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, raised in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and educated at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. He has published four books and is currently at work on another novel, this one set in the mountains of the American West. He is married and lives with his wife and two children on sixteen acres of land adjacent to a buffalo farm in rural Wisconsin.
